My name is Destiny Williams, and as a Graduate Licensed Professional Counselor (LGPC), I am deeply committed to guiding individuals and families through their journey of growth and healing. Coming from Washington DC and having attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where I majored in School Counseling and Community Mental Health Counseling, I have cultivated a strong foundation in providing support and guidance.​

 

Continuing with my dedication to enhancing my practice, I am currently pursuing additional coursework in Play therapy. This specialized training will enable me to create even more meaningful and impactful therapeutic experiences for my clients. With my experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, I have had the privilege of providing solution-focused counseling and crisis management.

 

In my practice, I prioritize themes of Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Stress, and various other needs, tailoring my approach to each individual I have the honor of serving. By incorporating an array of therapeutic modalities, I strive to offer a culturally appropriate and trauma-sensitive approach to therapy. I firmly believe that healing occurs when we create a warm, accepting, and empowering environment for our clients.
